Kaladin rested by the Gate of Peace. Sometimes, he could only feel completely at rest with the Gate's soporific effect affecting him. His history completely haunted him.
Mera had almost stumbled upon the gate of peace by accident. While coming to Soulion was risky she thought she'd be able to catch more test subjects.
Kaladin watched as a wisp of light darted about on the winds, jumping back and forth. He smiled. He didn't know much of anything about surgebinders and didn't know that he was one. But this odd thing was following him about. He liked it.
Mera surveyed the area, trying to figure out the best course of action. thats when she spotted another Surgebinder. she tensed moving in for an attack
Kaladin had never even summoned his surgeblade and was only now manifesting in power. He didn't know it, though. He noticed the woman, but didn't think she would be evil. He smiled and nodded once, thinking she was coming over to talk... not punch him.
Mera analyzed the man. he didn't look like a threat. he could possibly be turned to their cause. still, as she walked over her soulblade appeared in her hand
He stood up sharply. This woman was like the girl, Wren. Deadly. "Who are you? What is it you want?" He had a spear at hand, but it would barely be effective.
"I'm no Surgebinder. I'm Kaladin, spearman of the seventh battalion or Soulion's army." He stared at her, trying to place what it was she was going to do.
Mera raised an eyebrow. So he didn't even know his full power. "But I know you are more powerful than just a simple spearman. I can help you learn of your true power,"
"its part of your soul. you can turn it into many weapon" Mera demonstrated, her soul blade appearing in her hand
His frown deepened. "How do you do it?" He asked, stretching out his hand, as if to grab it from the air.
Kaladin focused. The light didn't become a soul... but it did cement into an actual shape. A humanoid.
Mera smiled faintly, more as a trick to think she was pleased with this new development, though only partially
The humanoid drifted down, staring sullenly at Mera. Like Kaladin, it seemed fairly grumpy, but then it leaped forwards and stood upon Mera's shoulder, examining her in a curious, almost innocent way.
Mera glanced sideways at the humaniod. Innocent looks, make for false securities, so Mera stayed on guard. She wasn't used to seeing a humaniod soul like this since her soul tended to stay out of the way or be in soulblade form.
The humanoid slowly started to take shape, distinctly male. It turned, then smiled at Kaladin, clothes appearing that mimicked his counterpart's.
"Concentrate and think about the weapon you want it to become. I personally, use my other dagger as a template," Mera said
The soul piece drifted about. "He can't command me," he invited. Like Kaladin, the soul was stubborn.
((Also, Jason with Zerai?))He nodded. He stretched out his hand. "Come on. You're not useless and neither am I." The spear formed in his hand, long and strong, deadly, like a voulge.
Mera smirked slightly. he would be very useful. maybe with a few memory tweaks here and there though.
"An accident?" he asked, allowing the spear to return to the shape of the young man. The shard stood over Kaladin's shoulder, taking everything in.
"Soulion's Gate of Peace," he elaborated. "How could you possibly get lost? Are you here from another world?"
