Book Rating: *****
Genre: action/adventure, fantasy/sci-fi.
I got the chance to read this book. It was very enjoyable. Action thrived around every corner. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes the following summary. They say that a ranger is a sorcerer that practices magic, but if you have read the first book you'll know that isn't the case. A ranger specializes in the use of master archery, Saxe knife use, and blending in with the surroundings. The setting is of this book starts with will no longer an apprentice getting assigned to safe guard in the fief of Seacliff, but it is not possible to stay long. When his friend Alyss appears there with a secret assignment for Will he leaves in for the wintery depths of the northern fief of Castle Macindaw. There are hints of out of place sorcery. Alyss and Will venture out to figure out these rumors ,but it turns out to be more than a myth.
