Skylar warily stepped into the Forbidden Forest and looked around, she tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear and looked behind to make sure Rosie was still near. She made eye contact with her for a second and turned around and kept walking forward. She held her wand tightly, ready to cast any spell needed.

"From the North. That's where they are said to be coming from." She said to the back of Skylar's head before looking in the direction, holding her own wand. "Lumos." Rosie whispered under her breath, using her wand as a torch. "Remember, they were- if anyone else is even here- screaming. So whatever it is, it's going to be dangerous."

Skylar took a deep breath and fell back to walk with Rosie. "Good idea," she whispered, "Lumos!" She stepped on a stick and jumped as high as a kangaroo, she put a hand over her heart. "It's ok." She said to Rosie. She saw something and pointed her wand towards it. It was massive. "Protego Maxima." She breathed ((protego totalum is a powerful shield charm against dark magic, is so powerful it can disintegrate people who come too close.))

Rosie smiled at Skylar's jump, but turned her attention away and pointed her want at the thing. "It might be a spider, or a-ah...I forget what you call them. Half horse half human." Her smile dropped. "Or...It could be-We should get closer, but not in the direct path and within the charm." She said, taking a few steps forward.

"Ok." Skylar said, "oh by the way they're called Centaurs, the half human half horse creatures." She smiled and took a few steps forward toward the- the- thing. She trusted Rosie's confidence and didn't falter.

"That was it." She said in reply to Skylar, walking a little more forward before stopping. "We need to get its attention, but not harming it as I could be harmless." Rosie said, stepping a little out of the charm to reach for a rock. "Just gonna, just get its attention." She mumbled to herself. Rosie threw it on the floor near the being of dark mass.

"Oh god... oh no......." Skylar kept saying to herself, she was terrified. She held her wand at the ready. She was listing spells in her head that she could use just in case the thing attacked.

The dark mass moved to them, floating. "Soul Taker! What would they be doing on Hogwarts ground?" She said, stepping back into the charm, Patronum spell on the tip of her lips.

"Wait what? Soul Taker??? What are they?" She was confused why such a terrible name for a creature! Unless.. it really did take souls. Skylar shivered at the thought. "Nox. Lacarnum Inflamarae." ((Makes a ball of fire at the tip of the wand.)) "Hope you don't mind, in becoming quite cold."

Rosie stopped herself. "Dementor? They take your soul. The kiss is unbearable to watch apparently. They feed from the happiest memories you have, until there are only bad ones. But, I thought they were under control of the Ministry of Magic!" Rosie explained.

"Oh, I've heard about them! I just haven't ever seen one! I know how to cast the Patronus spell, how about you?" Skylar tried to find the happiest memory she had to prepare herself just in case. "Should we tell the headmaster that it's Dementors that are causing the screams?"

"Of course." She said, "Cast it, now. Before it gets any closer!" Rosie said, casting it herself. "Expecto Patronum!" Rosie said, swirling her want as the bright light filled her vision.

"Expecto Patronum!" She half yelled as a bright wolf shot out of her wand and attacked the Dementor, she saw Rosie's Patronus leap out of her own wand. She kept focusing on her happy memory as the Demetor slowly crumbled away.

Rosie's own Patromun, a lion, attacked. The beast was nothing more than a little black shred on the ground by the time the two were down. Rosie sighed, putting her want by her side. "A wolf? Nice." She said, breathing heavily for a second. "We should tell them. The headmaster. But I don't know why the Ministry of Magic would set one out here."

"Thanks, your Patronus is awesome too! A lion! Should we start walking back to school now? So we can tell the headmaster?" She turned towards the direction of Hogwarts.

"Yeah, although I'm pretty sure Dementors don't scream, it might of been a lure however." Rosie said, looking back around quickly and turning back too. "If we tell we'll get into trouble, but it's worth it."

"Of course it will be worth it! We'll be saving many lives!" She exclaimed, not too loud who knows what could be in this forest... "Ready to go?" She wondered as she saw Rosie turns around once more.

((sorry for the late reply I was getting noodles and hot coco))

"Yeah, lets." She said and started walking beside Skylar. "Maybe there is something going on and the headmaster just isn't telling us? Maybe they know."

"Maybe, we should ask. But we shouldn't push too much, we wouldn't want to risk being expelled." Skylar looked around, 'Where had they one from again?' She asked herself. Maybe Rosie knew so she kept walking next to her.

"Ministry of Magic kind of owns them. They once used them to track down a prisoner who had escaped Azkaban, though that was some time ago." She said. "I haven't read the papers recently, but it there was an escapee I'd like to think we would of known by now." Rosie sighed. "And yeah, you're right. Don't push it. Just say we heard noises but didn't go in."

"I really wouldn't know" Nate said with a shrug as they made their way out side

"are you telling me you haven't been eaten by a unicorn before!" he exclaims

Nate rolled his eyes but smiled at the boys antics anyway "well last time I checked no, no I havent been eaten by a unicorn"

"what a boring life, everyone must be eaten by a unicorn at least once in their life" he said grinning as he bumped into a tree

"you okay?" Nate said with a small chuckle

Adrian help a hand up t his throbbing head which took the most damage. "I think so. maybe it wont be a unicorn that kills me, maybe its a tree" he joked

Nate chuckled at the other boy kneeling to help the other boy up "not on my watch" he said smiling gently helping him up making sure he was steady keeping his hand on Adrians arm to make sure he was okay
