OK. So I finished the Legend series a couple of weeks ago. I loved the lead up, and I love June and Day (Daniel) together. I was so excited for the end of the book, because I was hoping it would be one of thee books where the couple got married and lived happily ever after. Then I find out that it's a time skip. I was like Ok. Not what I expected. So I am just wondering. Did they actually end up together or not? I guess it's more of a personal thought. Also, does anyone have any book suggestions that are like the Legend Series?

They really didn´t get together, because Day lost his memories, but at the very end, it seems like he recognised her, so maybe they will build up their love again, now in different circumstances, of course. It´s an open ending, where you can sort of imagine how the love story ended.
About the book suggestion, I think you can go to the other series of Marie Lu, "Young Elite" or maybe to books like "Snow like fire" or "Kiss of deception". I hope my anwer help you

I read 'The Young Elites' and I was so in love with it. Then I got to 'The Rose Society' and I'm kind of disappointed. I think part of it was that I had such high expectations, but it was just not what I expected. The book was also just a little too gory for me. Though if your looking for a good and quick read I'd definitely recommend 'The Young Elites'.
Thank you! I'm definitely gonna read that one. I hope to enjoy it as much as you did. Did you know that the third and last book is coming out this year? Let's pry it has a good ending.

It was so dark. I can't wait for The Midnight Star!

If nay of you wish to read a slight extension to Marie Lu's master piece (although I warn you, I am not Marie Lu and could never do this trilogy justice, but I tried anyway) then check out the following link: https://odysseyinatlantis.wordpress.c...
I apologize in advance for mixing up details since it had been a while until I finally got around to writing this. Great book and I look forward to more!
I love this series I love Day and June together. I am upset with the ending aswell. I hate that Day lost his memories it leaves me heart broken and depressed, ALSO Eden knew June and that Day cared for her why didn't he say anything?
I personally thought the ending was clever, fitting and hopeful. I also loved it by the way. If you read all three books you realise that Day losing his memory of June was the only way for them to have a chance of staying together without Day being in pain for what June had done in the past to his family. I personally think that Day sooner or later must have some memories of June back (I look forward to reading the epilogue that Marie Lu will give with her new book at the end of the year which is Champion's ending from Day's perspective), but will live giving them a new possibility and a fresh start. This is my personal view on the ending which I thought was an happy and hopeful one. They will get back together and be ok in my opinion having a fresh start like they had hoped in Prodigy. When I first read the book I also was a bit disappointed because I would have liked to know a bit more of them getting back together, but the more I thought about that the more I realised it was the perfect ending as it is open to whatever possibilities you want to imagine for them. But it is a sure thing that they go back together in my opinion, no other possibile way ("... of something meant to be" ).
i agree with Giulia, it is the only possible ending, but still so sad. they end up togther, nothing else could be possible, they both still wear their rings!!!!
The ending was sad but also extremely clever, especially to those who paid close attention to the previous 2 books. The way she ended it was exactly how Day said they wanted them to meet in Prodigy (I think) so I actually enjoyed the ending. I also love how she left it up to the imagination as to what happened after the last page.
I really enjoyed the ending and personally thought it saved the last book. The third book was a lot slower for me than the other two and I, hands down, really loved the ending compared to the other two books. The two of them, to begin with, wanted to meet on better terms and this is their chance. Obviously Day has linger thoughts that he somehow knows her and will recover these memories, but it's just sweet that they start anew. And, of course, I definitely feel they will get together :D .
