Clean air, vibrant flora, crystal blue springs, ponds, and mini waterfalls. the Forest of Peace is a tranquil area where many Treo and Ka'wai go to meditate and get new ideas. The forest is kept in perfect condition. Visitors are allowed as long as they don't litter or damage the ecosystem.

Astra had decided to come to Dasmaynia, as it was one of the few peaceful, safe places left, especially the Forest of Peace. In fact, Astra already had a safe haven set up in the forest. She went to one of the giant trees that had a hollow hole like space with something of an entrance set in the wood. The inside was very spacious and clean. With the tree being secluded and near a pond, it would be perfect.

Damian sleep on completely unaware that they'd just raveled to a completely different world. As he slept he felt the beginnings of the magical bond that exist between dragon and child taking shape, causing him cling even closer to Arista's back. This was it, he was now ready to become a dragon child under the care of a loving mother, all that he was waiting for was for Astra to perform the final act that would seal them together for the rest of their immortal lives.

Astra gently set down inside the tree. She turned back into her normal form so she could get Damian off her back. Once she'd transformed of course, he was still clinging to her back, his arms wrapped around her neck. She gently set him down, being ever so careful. She remembered what Alkia had told her about the ceremony. This would be the emotionally hard part for her. She kept her hands steady as she carefully and gently removed his clothing. The next part, the soul fire, was again an easy part. She had learned that type of fire magic a few hundred years ago.

Damian continued to sleep as the soulfire slowly but surely incased him in a large transparent crystal which once completed filled with liquid which caused the young cat boy float suspended in the crystal cocoon in the fetal position. Now completely safe in sound in his cocoon, he placed his hand on the his side of the glass wall, ready to form the tie the knot and form the bond.

Astra put her hand where his hand was, on her side. She felt it was right to do, among the mix of other emotions she was feeling.

Damian jolted as he feel the sudden rush of the bond taking hold completely and began to twitch, turn and kick recklessly as the memories began to follow between mother and child. On his end, sense he'd been blind from birth, his memories his other, senses and emotions told his story clear as day. From, his early day days spend starving under the roof of his improvised parents, to the abandonment he felt when he left one the street, to finally the relief he felt when he was recued and sheer joy of Astra say the he wanted to adopt him. All this and more he shared until there was nothing left to share and he closed with speaking into her mind, "Thank you for giving me the honor of being your son, I love you mother, now and forever."

Astra smiled softly. She allowed her memories to be open to be shared. Everything she'd hidden from the worlds and kept to herself. It was all open. years of pain and torture as well as hundreds of years of different adventures and lessons. "I'm glad you wanted to be my son. I love you," She said softly.

Damian felt it all and cat boy movements change from violently erratic as he felt all her pain, suffer and loneliness as if it were his own. This continued until, the memories of countless wondrous adventures cosmos play before him as slept, with a perfectly content smile on his face, as he know that first time in his life he had someone who truly loved him. "Mom I'm feeling kind of tired, so I think just go to sleep now, goodnight mother, see you in a little will." And with that Damian allowed his mind to turn of, so that he could rest peacefully and allow his body, mind and soul to modeled into the immortal child he was going to become.

Astra smiled. She knew she should probably rest as well. After that and a day of much travel she was worn out.

((Okay, I've got a little surprise for the two of them which I'll explain after it occurs, but I don't want to ruin it so get ready.))

While it normally took around two to three months to complete the transformation to complete, however for some reason it took four months before the cat boy began to stir, when he did, he began to kick and punch around the his cocoon, making a racket in a otherwise peaceful place as he tried to get break free of his cocoon, one crack at a time.

Astra had been out getting food for herself, of course staying nearby. So when she heard the racket she quickly flew back to the tree

By the time, Astra arrived back at the tree, Damian had managed to break a small hole to crack his cocoon in several places. However the effort he was putting into breaking the hard crystal was quickly tiring him. So he call out mentally, "Mom, please, help me!"

Astra helped how she could. She was slightly worried, of course that was the mother in her

With the help of his mother, Damian after much effort, finally managed to break a hole in the hard crystal shell, large enough for him to fit through, and climbed out of his cocoon back into the real world before collapsing from exhaustion, just a few feet from his former home.

Astra sighed a little in relief, of course she was still worried. She was mostly just being motherly

After taking a moment to catch his breath, and to cough up the all the liquid in his lungs. He attempted to get stand though, his legs were shaky to say the least from four month of not being used. While doing so he greeted Astra with a tired smile, "Good morning m mother."

"Good morning my son," Astra said softly, smiling lovingly.

"How long was I out," he asked as he rubbed his eyes and began to look for something to help get the slime of his body.

"4 months" Astra said bringing over a bucket of water and a cloth

"Man, talk about a power nap," He chuckled before he noticed two things that were completely out of the norm. Then first was a pair of black feathered wings connected to his shoulder blades, and the second was that he could see the wings and everything else around him clear as day. The combination of these changes, caused the boy to look at his mother in a mix of confusion and shock. "Mom, I have wings and I'm not blind anymore, why?"

"I don't know why but I do know that it was for a good reason. I'm happy for you" Astra said smiling

"Yeah, would've been nice if I could've come out not looking like something a troll sneezed out,but whom am to complain, I've got a new mother, wings, and a good pair of eyes. Honestly I don't know how I could ever be happier,"he said with a smile as he look at his mother's loving face for the first time in his life.

Astra laughed softly. "Don't worry. That's why I had a bucket of clean water and a cloth ready," She said softly. She was glad he was happy. She was also doing her best to be a good mother.

"Well, I guess when you have to wait four months while your son grew wings out his back, I guess one does find time to prepare for these type of things. I'm just glad you didn't have to push me out like my biological mother did, now that would've been and awkward situation to say the least," he said with a hearty laugh as he waited for Astra to help him as he knew that get the slime out of his new wings was going to be a pain if he tried to do it by himself.

Astra laughed and got the cloth wet before starting to work on getting his new wings clean. She was being very gentle because she knew how delicate new wings could be.

"Thanks you mother,"Domain said enjoying the feeling her gently running towel through each one his feathers. "So what's the plan ow that I'm out of the cocoon?"

"Now, there is so much I want to show you. We also should start your training" Astra said, smiling

"That sound like fun, but how do you train to become a dragon child, because even though I am one now, I don't know much about them aside from what what I heard around the nursery," Domain asked.

Astra didn't know what to say for a moment. She had sort of skipped over this part in her version of training. "well, I can most definitely teach you diplomatics and how to negotiate and talk to different races and different status ranks" She said. That was an important part of being a dragon child. That much she knew.

"Yeah, that last time I tried to negotiate with one of the Eos, Gingeroot ended up having to spend an hour with me pulling spikes out of my backside, so I definitely need help working with them, " he replied shivering at the memory.

Astra laughed softly. "Well you'll have the best of the best to teach you," She said

"Really, what do you know about the Eos, just so that you don't end up having to pull poisonous spikes out of my body we if we were to ever cross paths with than," the boy asked.

"Eos are warriors and nomads. The understand the beauty of battle and they respect nature," Astra said. She continued on with a long lecture about Eos and their culture.

"I understand most of it now mother, thank you, but can you go over the part about their language again, I still don't quite understand that part," he asked as he felt her finish with his wings and move to his back.

"Eos normally speak the tongue of whatever world they may be at the time, much like myself. Though they do have languages of their own know as Dawn Speak. This language is more made up of visual cues and bird like squawks then actual words, and the dialect changes from tribe to tribe," Astra explained

"Thank you, you seem to know a lot about them, have you every encounter them before, I guess I should know if your did from when we shared memories, but you had so many adventure that I guess I lost track of the all," he aide with a smile as he was finally starting to feel clean though there was still a bit of slime in his hair.

"I have encountered them at least a few times. In fact I've encountered most races. It comes with my life style," Astra said

"Really, have you by chance meet the great God of fire Fathamore, there was one retired dragon child who looked work at the nursery who use to talk about him all the time, and I've always wanted to meet him in person," Damain said now completely clean and feeling much better.

"No. I stay clear of the gods. I don't want to get on their bad sides. In fact, while I may believe in the gods there is only one i devote anything to," Astra said

"Let me guess Tyr the God of Justice," he guessed hopping that he could at least remember that from the memory sharing.

Astra nodded. "That is correct. I understand what he stands for and in a sense follow him,"

Damain nodded before it finally came to him that he was having a conversation with his mother while he was completely naked, and smiled sheepishly, "Ah you don't by chance have and clothes lying around for me do ya?"

"That I do," Astra said, laughing softly as she grabbed the new clothes she'd gotten/made for Damian. "I used the sizes from your last clothes"

He nodded as he put them on, happy that be wearing clothes again, "they perfectly, now are that I'm presentable, are we going to be staying around here or are we going to be traveling someplace else?"

"We can go anywhere you want to go, or stay here. it is completely up to you," Astra said

"Well if you don't mind I would like to go back to Soulion and meet some of the other dragon children, just to see what it's like," he ask because he wanted learn more about what it was like being a dragon child as he technically was one now..

"That is perfectly fine with me" Astra said smiling. She was happy for him

"Great we should probably go to traders stop first to get my supplies and uniform, then we can go check out their base," Damian said excitedly.

Astra laughed softly. She loved how excited he was. "That can be done,"
