Summerton
Peter opened up the Bakery while his mother spoke to the delivery man for ingredients and his sister, Isabelle, set up the shop windows with fresh pastries and cakes they'd baked earlier.
Jason didn't know why he'd chosed to stop in Summerton. He just had. He looked at what little cash he had in his pocket. Maybe just enough to by breakfast. He would have to do death readings later. He spotted a bakery and walked inside
Isabelle smiled at the new Customer. "Hello! Welcome to Polaris Bakery. What can I do for you today?" She asked, going behind the counter and putting her apron on.Peter continued to set up tables and frowned slightly at the customer. He'd never seen him before and he could tell he wasn't a noble.
Jason pulled out what little money he had. "I'll take whatever I can get for this." He said. Don't touch anyone. He didn't need to see how anyone dies right now
Isabelle looked at the money and it took her a moment to see it properly so she knew how much it was. "That will get you a coffee and either an eclaire, a muffin, or a scone." She told him
Isabelle smiled warmly and took the money and put it in the money box. "Great. What kind of muffin would you like?" She asked. "We have blueberry, chocolate chip, banana nut, and macadamia nut."
Isabelle nodded. "Take a seat where ever you'd like and I'll be out with your order shortly." She told him with a smile and then went to the back to make the Coffee and get a fresh muffin.
Peter began wiping down the counter, watching Jason warily. Isabelle came out and handed Jason his coffee and muffin. "Have a great day," She told him happily. She turned to walk away and she tripped on a chair that was in the wrong place. She fell to the ground with a thud.
Jason swore under his breath and ran over to her, helping her up. He was slightly shaky as he helped her up, since it was through physical comment that he could see how people were going to die. And that's exactly what he was seeing. He saw how she would die
Isabelle got up carefully and she looked around to see who helped her but their image was almost completely blurred. "Peter? Is that you?" She asked.Peter ran over. "I'm to your left, Isabelle. The person in front of you who helped you is the customer."
Isabelle blushed from embarrassment. "I'm so sorry. Thank you so much for helping me."
Peter frowned. "You sure?" He placed a hand on his shoulder to see what was wrong. Peter saw Isabelle, a few years older, sitting in a room with a young child who looked just like her. A man came into the room silently, Isabelle couldn't see them, and he killed her and the child. Peter quickly pulled his hand back and stumbled backwards, knocking over a chair, his eyes wide in horror.
Peter looked at Jason in horror. "Wh-Who are you? And h-how did you see that?" He asked, shaking in fear.Isabelle stood to the side, confused and unable to see what was going on.
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have come here" Jason said, backing up a little more. new blood with the ability to see how people would die. it was a curse
Peter frowned. "Get in the kitchen." He said quickly and shut the shutters and put the closed sign outside. He then helped Isabelle to the kitchen and a chair.
Jason sighed. He had no choice but to do so or fight. It was probably best to just go into the kitchen, which is what he did
Peter shut all the doors and looked at Jason. "So, you're a newblood?" He asked.Isabelle gasped and her eyes widened. "Another Newblood?" She asked. They'd been looking for a newblood who might be able to restore her sight.
Peter froze and then looked at Isabelle and then back at Jason. "S-so... when I read your thoughts earlier.... that's going to happen someday?" He asked, suddenly weak in the knees.
Peter leaned against the counter and ran his fingers through his hair and looked worriedly at Isabelle.Isabelle frowned and tilted her head. "What? What did you see?" She asked.
Jason shook his head. No he wouldn't tell her. Rule if thumb, if it was particularly tragic don't tell them
"Nothing," Peter said. "I red his mind while he was remembering someone's death. Not anyone we know." Peter lied.Isabelle didn't seem to believe it but she had no choice but to trust Peter. He was her eyes.
Isabelle looked in Jason's direction. "Do you know a new blood with healing abilities?" She asked hopefully.((Brb))
Isabelle's face fell. "Oh." She said quietly and looked down at her lap.Peter patted her shoulder and sighed before looking at Jason. "You're welcome to stay here as long as you'd like." He told him.
"I really should go. As much as I appreciate it, i'm not the best company to have around" Jason said
"It's more dangerous out there," Peter said. "Busy time's about to start. Hard to walk through town without touching anyone. Trust me, I know."
Peter nodded and then went back out into the restaurant area and reopened the bakery. He manned the counter and waited for customers.Isabelle stood up, a little shakily and tried to figure out where in the kitchen she was. She reached out to try and grab something and was about to grab the stove which was on.
Jason quickly grabbed her and pulled her back. He regretted touching her but she was going to hurt herself if he hadn't pulled her back
Isabelle's eyes widened at something she couldn't see. She bit her lip and tears began to build up in her eyes. "I-I'm sorry," She said weakly. She pulled away and wrapped her arms around herself, crying softly.
Isabelle shook her head, tears rolling down her cheeks. "No. I'm just a nuisance. I'm worthless. I'm a blind red blood. No one will ever care about me. And I wouldn't expect them too. It's just..." She sighed. "Even though I'm a red blood and I know it's impossible, I've always wanted to be in the Queenstrial. it's stupid, I know. But, even a worthless blind red blood can wish for the impossible."
Isabelle sighed. "Hope of what? Only silvers have healing powers and they'd never heal a red blood like me. So what do I eve have to hope for?"

The city is surrounded by a wall of diamondglass, like most other Silver cities, and the Hall of the Palace is made entirely of diamondglass and marble. The Grand Garden, the marketplace, is dotted with flowers, trees, and fountains, as well as multitude of shops that cater to the needs of the Silvers.
