For me, it depends how long the series is. If it's a serial of about 100 pgs each, I'll review all the episodes as a whole. If it's a series of complete books just on the same topic, I review each one separately.

Great question. I like to post reviews soon after I finish a book, while the story is still fresh in my mind. I may not read every book in a series, or the series may not be finished, so I would write a review for the individual book (but perhaps mention in the review that I have also read others in the series.) I've written my own series so that each book stands on its own and readers can read them in any order or skip any that don't appeal, but they all share characters and settings and (hopefully) anyone who likes one will also enjoy the others.
