Ambitious Bibliophiles discussion

I figured I'd share my brief review of this one for y'all. I definitely recommend it.

While reading The Passage, I felt nods to The Stand and The Giver and Firestarter. I was lost in a post-apocalyptic nightmare that shed light on the transcendence of the struggles of people in any world, from our own, to that of the virals. Justin Cronin crafts a gorgeous story of lovely details even in a pretty ugly setting.

The scene in the early part of the book at the Zoo is one of my favorite moments from any book. There is a terrifying scene in book two that I remember very vividly. Love this story and look forward to reading book three.

Like the FIELD, the field? That was totally crazy! I don't know if you're planning to read City of Mirrors but I'm really enjoying it so far. I'll try to finish before Origins and bring it for you, if you want.
