Hey there! This June we will be reading a young adult, contemporary piece written by Siobhan Vivian. "The Last Boy and Girl in the World" follows Keeley Hewitt and her friends as they navigate how to spend their last days together before they must abandon their homes and set sail for taller pastures, as their homes in Aberdeen are slipping underwater.

If the government offered you a slew of money to abandon your home, would you take the money and run? Why or why not?
