I downloaded it and it's ready to go but I haven't started yet. I've been in a funk and haven't been able to read anything the last few days. I've started about 4 books and just blah, lol. Hopefully tomorrow!

I can't imagine being in a book funk right now. I'd probably cry.

Started yesterday but didn't get very far.

Just starting Ch. 6 -(view spoiler)[ Sooo, Adam's mom is a twat! There was no reason for her to say that to Auburn about her not really loving Adam and for her to go home so he could spend the rest of his time with the people that really loved him. She was already leaving, she had to because of the school. What a horrible thing to say to a teenage girl about her first love- her first love that is dying and she will not see again!! And poor Adam, to feel such loss before he dies.

I think that first love shapes you in a way that none after do. Not that you can't love someone else more but you experience things differently because you've already been in love. The first time is so pure and raw because it's the first time. Or at least that was my experience. Or hell, maybe it's just an age thing. Doesn't matter, I don't think you should say it's not really love when you're dealing with teenagers. They're so full of hormones and emotion that it makes an impression on their lives. Okay, rant over.

So, she moved back to Texas and visited a lawyer- why? That hasn't been explained yet and I'm curious about it. I have a feeling but I'll wait and see how far off I am. Especially with Trey coming around and her still being involved with those people after all these years.

What I'd really like to know is how Owen knows her from the past though! And why she wouldn't know him. Curiouser and curiouser... what's his confession, hmmm?? Don't tell me! I'm just thinking out loud :) (hide spoiler)]

CH. 6- (view spoiler)[ And Lydia shows her twatty colors again! Auburn waited for her for over an hour and the Twat brushes her off and blames her for not reminding her and all without saying Happy Birthday. Ugh! I hate her! (hide spoiler)]

I hate these people. Trey, Lydia and I'm also not a fan of Owen's father. They're not good people at all. I really hope that Auburn and Owen get some justice for themselves.

I finished this morning. I liked it but didn't love it

(view spoiler)[ I just really hated Trey and Lydia. And with Trey being the way he was, would he have just left them alone after all that? Doesn't seem like it. Not Lydia for that matter either. I'm glad that she was finally able to get AJ back and was able to be with Owen but I don't know. Those vile people just left me feeling sick for most of the book.

I think my favorite part was actually Owen's confession of how he knew Auburn and became an artist. How he painted something and went and visited Adam in his room. (hide spoiler)]
