Horace Gilder gets my vote. He had the means to save humanity and instead took advantage of the chaos to save himself only.

Kiersten, I am not really sure that I completely understand your question, but I agree Horace was a very bad guy.I think Lila, although she was mentally damaged, also played a big role in the chaos!!
