I honestly can't wait for this! It's going to be so awesome.
Renee, The Price of Salt is a great book, and one of the first to actually show a happy ending for a lesbian couple. Make sure to watch the 2016 film Carol of you haven't already. It gets the feel of the novel spot on!

Just finished. Didn't know what to expect. Thought it might be a mystery, since many of Highsmith's titles seem to fall into that category. Also, expected some kind of wrenching tragedy &/or unhappy ending given that it was published in 1952. Was surprised on all counts. An excellent read. One I'll probably go back to so I can take my time to notice the small exquisite things, the way you do with a reread. Beautiful writing.

Ah I so wanted to read Fun Home! I might just buy it to be honest. I cant find it in any of my local libraries.
