I genuinely read that and felt nothing but awe for the way he constructs sentences. His sparseness of language is amazing to me. He uses virtually no adjectives in that book. His control and confidence was breathtaking to me.

Gormenghast is the opposite. Luxurious and decadent language. I loved them both.
