Ava sat on a stool at Grillby's bar, munching on a burger. Aban't Un was on the table, nibbling bits off a Spider Donut. Next to him was a notebook with an unfinished design for the Snowed Inn ad she was currently working on. It had a cute little blurb that said, "Stuck in a blizzard? No worries! Come to Snowed Inn! We have great prices!" Underneath that in tiny writing (most likely the work of Aban't Un) it said, "*where you will most likely be snowed in. we are also the only inn in town. no refunds after half hour of stay." It had a cute drawing of the bunny innkeeper and drawings of snowflakes. At the top, in letters that looked like they were made of ice with snow covering the top it said, "Snowed Inn".
Suddenly, Ava's phone went off, the "Spider Dance" theme playing. She gave a little "Oh!" and answered it. A familiar spider's voice sounded at the receiving end. " *Hey Ava!~" She giggled at her friend. " *Hey Muff! What's up?" Her friend replied, " *Well, I heard from one of my brothers that Napstablook said that he didn't get one of our new posters." Ava gasped. " *Oh my gosh! I completely forgot! I was wondering why I had an extra poster! And I left it in my room. I can just draw another one quickly though..." Her friend laughed. " *Ahuhuhuhu , you're so funny. Just have it to him by tomorrow." She sighed. " *Thanks Muffy, you're the best." Her friend reminded her of another thing, " *Don't forget you also get paid tomorrow~..." Ava grinned goofily. " *Mm, thanks again. Say hello to Cupcake for me~" Muffet replied cheerfully, " *Of course dearie~ Goodbye!~" The receiver beeped to signal the line was dropped. Ava closed her phone, with a smile still on her face. She got to work redrawing Napstablook's poster.
((It's okay, I've been really busy with school! >w<))Ava was busy sketching the outline of her poster when she heard piano music. It was classical music, and very pretty. It sounded familiar to her, but she couldn't remember it's name. She continued sketching, head bobbing to each note. Even Aban't Un was doing a little dance while sketching the smaller details.
((woah sorry, trying to catch up with everything)) Ava looked at Aban't Un and whispered, "*Wow, she's really good! I wish I could play the piano..." She looked at the finished poster, checking for mistakes. She got her coloring utensils out of her bag and set them on the bar counter. She wanted to call the girl over, but she was too shy. 'What if she doesn't like me? What if she finds me too awkward? What if-' Aban't Un could tell what was going on. He chuckled a bit. "*Go on! Call her over here!" Her frequent blush got darker. "*Fine, but any negative consequences and you have to come with me to Nap's house." She built up her courage, but her voice still came out as a squeak. "*Um hey...girl that was playing the piano...can you, uh come over here?..."
Light looked at Grillbys as they passed. She was hungry, starving even. The restaurant served as a reminder to that. The last thing she had to eat was monster candy, and it was a while ago. She grimaced as she checked her inventory. Only the butterscotch-cinnamon pie, and she kind of wanted to save that. Ah well. She guessed she would have to go without eating. Maybe she could find something later to eat. "We should keep walking," she said, a wistful glance to Grillbys. But she would stay strong. The smell of the burgers and fries cooking would not tempt her. Besides, it was full of monsters. Going there would
not
be a good idea.
Luna had prepared a small group of monsters with weapons. They weren't attacking. They didn't know they were humans. But she just said the visitors made her feel worried and some concerned citizens stepped up.
Light walked in front of Jembe, hurrying to get away from the temptation that was Grillbys. She was completely oblivious to Luna with the other monsters, and kept walking to get out of town.
He had a vad feeling, but shrugged it off. He began to ask questions. "So, do you use any weapons light?"
"Well, I tend to not like to use weapons. Something about hurting people, maybe?" she said sarcastically. "Well, the knife feels most comfortable in my hands. Though, I went to a shooting ranch once, and apparently I'm pretty good at shooting a gun. I hit a target from about 300 yards away on my first try with a rifle, which is apparently pretty good. But if I were to choose a weapon to use in a battle, it would be knives. Not like I WANT to stab anyone or anything though."((Yes, that's extremely doable. In fact, my first time ever handling a gun, I shot a target from 450 yards away multiple times. It isn't that hard, especially if you have a good gun.))
Light kept walking on, when something caught her eye. "Why are there a group of monsters over there...? And why do they all have weapons..." a chill ran down her spine. "Jembe, that doesn't look like good news. Let's get out of here. Now."
"Wait, weapon?! We're going to kill them?!" Her voice went unnaturally high. She gripped her shirt, counted to ten, and took deep breaths until she called down and saw the logic in what he said. "Alright... I understand. We don't have to kill them..." She muttered that last part as she grabbed her white knife.
Most were young, though the humans might not know that. They were children, really, coming to help Luna because Luna got really scared. The group of monsters had a close-knit friendship with each-other, mainly because there were only so many children that could befriend each other.
"If we do get in contact with them, incapitate them. No killing, or else my mission is a bust..." He sighed, squating down and hiding. Sneaking past them.
One of the loudest was a younger girl child, waving about a stick enthusiastically. She seemed to have gills and shockingly red hair.
Young Undyne seemed to be rallying the children to search for suspicious new monsters that would dare to scare the harmless little bat girl! She had taken Luna's fear and blown it out of proportion! Also... maybe the reason she'd eventually hate humans was that something tragic would happen to her friend...
Maybe so. Maybe that is exactly what happened. Jembe gripped Lights hand and dashed. He was quite fast and strong. It would be suprising to know of his feats, but lets not worry about that.
"Look! Someone is suspiciously running!" One of the children called. It looked like a young dinosaur, a female young child, wearing a lab coat, like an apprentice. There was a furrow in her brow, as if she was worried about something in the back of her mind, that she had to take care of and figure out what to do.
((Oooh... What if this is before Chara kills Asriel? Like, right before? And Chara doesn't recognize Light, but it's not an ordinary playthrough at all?))

((I like that. I was hoping that they could also maybe get thrown into the future. End up meeting the present Luna and the rest. But only later, because this seems entertaining.))
He watched out for the monsters. Still running away, not knowing if he was seen or not.

((YES. I LOVE IT!!!!! Would Chara be evil in it? I actually support the Chara is not a demon thing, and the Mettaton thing is a long story with an actual explanation to it :) (Mettaton is the equivalent to Chara where Light came from, and he used her to do genocide, but there's a story and explanation behind it. He obviously isn't 100% good, but he's not evil.) ANYWAYS long explanation done :) ))"They're still following us," Light said, frowning as she looked behind her. They all seemed smaller than usual adult monsters. She shrugged it off though. Maybe it was just that they were smaller than usual monsters. She kept running ahead with Jembe.
They were being chased by children! He ran, but at Light's speed. Jembe ran to a near by bush and hid, along with Light.
((Not the same Chara though. And he is evil in the cannon release. I could see them meeting her Chara though.))
((True, I personally have always thought of frisk as a girl, and chara as a guy. But dont make the story of the group just what I say.
((Alright! I'm sorry, I might not be as active for a couple days because family is in town :) ))"Were those... children?! Why on earth would children be chasing us?! They're supposed to be all timid and don't like confronting strangers and stuff!" Light's perception of children seemed to be VERY off.
((Okay!))
Undyne lifted her stick merrily. "Gettem!" she announced, and the wave of youth surged forward in a cheerful game of catch.

They might have thought this as a game, but Jembe wasnt amused. He wondered if they would follow them out to the waterfall in the distance. "Run." Jembe spoke as a command and darted to the water.
Light paused for half a second, slightly offended that he commanded her like that, before realizing how hypocritical that statement was when she had commanded him a few times already. She followed him into the area where the water was headed. "They seem like they're having fun," she deadpanned. She grimaced as snow sloshed in her shoes. Tennis shoes were not a good idea for snow. They kept snow out for a surprisingly long time, but snow had melted into there and her feet were starting to get numb. She shivered. Thank goodness they were getting out of there, she thought.
He was already a head of her by alot already. He stopped for her at the entrence of water fall. But it seemed like the kids were on her tail. He wasnt gonna leave her behind though, she was a human!
Light ran to catch up to Jembe. "They're right behind me!" She shouted, before covering her mouth. It might not have been the best idea to yell, but it was too late now. She got to where Jembe was, and then ran past him. Something about that young human-fish hybrid monster felt familiar, and she didn't like it. Therefore, she wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.
He had almost reached te end when suddenly...
"A dead end?!?!? Are you kidding?!?!?" He thought before stopping. Maybe he could negotiate with the kids, find a way around them.

((Keeping in mind what you said about undyne and her hate for humans having to do with something happening to her friend btw Ilsa))
((Yup!))
Undyne popped up behind them, laughing cheerily and waving her stick. "I got you!" she insisted, splashing some. "Now you gotta stay and talk!"

Light blinked, before smiling. "Oh great fishy one," she said dramatically. "You have bested me and my friend! I'm afraid we have to tell you our life story so we can rest in peace." She kicked Jembe's leg and gave him a look that seemed to say, Just make something up so we can get out of here!
He flinched at the kick. "O-oh yeah! And in a world like this, its good to be able to catch a human or two like us! You must be the most powerful in all of the Underground!" He spoke what lie was on his mind. There was a sound that could be heard, like a growel...
((I sorta want the reason that Undyne hates humans... is because she dosent want to embrace the fact that she loves them! If your cool with this, I got an idea!))
