There is a power struggle brewing between the Vampires and the Weres. What do you think of their battle for dominance? Are either group worthy?

I usually love vampires but I never cared for the vampires in this series. The whole thing with how the undead masters use their "children" seems really...sleazy. I wouldn't want any part of their world in this series. So I'm Team Were in this one.
Yes, the vampires in this series make my skin crawl. This includes Ivy and the reason why I'm not rooting for a HEA for Kisten and Rachel.
I didnt care for the vampires in this series but I did think that when (view spoiler). I am not finished yet. I have about 6 more hours to go.

I definitely prefer Weres over Vampires in most cases although neither species is particularly appealing in this series.

He seems too much a Beta male for Rachel in some respects and appears to be too comfortable being Piscary's second banana.
The vampires in this world are über creepy and don't seem to have many redeeming qualities at the top of the food chain. They're all about manipulation and dominance/submission while seeming to lack control. I'm not a fan of how they're designed in this world.
The jury is still out for me about the Weres, too, given how they showed up in this story. Granted most of them in this story were under the influence of the Focus but I was troubled by how they tricked David at the beginning.

Jonetta wrote: "They're all about manipulation and dominance/submission while seeming to lack control.."Yes. I also think that the distinction between living vampires and undead is interesting. The undead lose every shred of humanity although the living ones aren't exactly light and fluffy either.
