More is revealed about Ivy's past. Did the details make you feel differently about her?

Not really. It makes things make more sense but it only reinforced my opinion that Rachel would be better off getting away from her. Ivy has never been a favorite character of mine. She always seems to suck the light out of the pages she's on. She's like Eeyore with that rain cloud constantly hovering overhead. Other than the protection from other vampires, I'm hard pressed to see what Rachel gets out of this friendship. She feels like she has to always moderate her emotions because any strong emotion can trigger Ivy's instincts. I'd hate to live that way, walking on eggshells in my own home.
Lol! Well said, Veronica.
I'm no fan of Ivy's either who, vamp or not, abused or not, is committed to having Rachel's world focus around her. She's tiresome. I'm very sympathetic about her past but she can't live her present in it or design her future because of it. Time to move on.

Yes, this exactly! Time to move on, indeed.
