Theres a reason why the World hates this book so much. It's because it can't be disproved. Acheologically and scientfically it is sound. It proclaims the truth and nobody wants to hear that, because it interferes with the bad things people want to do. Man realizes that they are running away from God and doing evil so what do they do? They take God out of the picture. This thought processes leads them eventually to psotmodernism a.k.a. Nihilism. The death of positivism means we cannot know anything as human beings. We may not even exist, we may be a creation of our own imagination etc.(confused? you should be. If you believe in no God then things get a little crazy)
The only reason anyone would find fallacy in the Bible is because of the miracles and their own biases(i.e. Nathan). People don't want to believe in miracles, so they don't, it's plain and simple. They want to do their own thing, so they do. Ignorance is bliss isn't it?

Well be careful not to be tolerant of sin. We are not to have an open mind toward sin. the Bible says to love the person hate the sin. We tell people what we think is right, but we never should condemn, that's God's business not ours. For instance I'll befriend a Homosexual, that does not mean I condone him being gay, but I'm not going to hate him. What I will do is tell Him why I think it is wrong to be gay and what the Bible says about it. God loves everyone, but He will not let sin go unpunished.

What a lie. Science has proven it false time and time again. For one thing, the earth sure isn't 6,000 ..."
And who do you think you are to make a rude assumption like that? This is a Christian group after all, and if you don't like it then please stay out of it!

First off let's get something straight we're both biased. I 'm biased against evolution and all that it implies. Your biased against God. Did I insult you so badly by telling the truth? You are biased it's unmistakable by how you act. Your are not open-minded toward God so how could possibly understand what I am talking about? I'm not open minded toward believing that I came from primordial soup. To each his own right?

Thanks Rachel. I can get pretty nasty at times though; if anyone of my foes were to meet me in person, you have no idea what I can and will do to them!

I was raised Catholic and my family left the church due to some awful things the priests in our parish did. I explored many other religions throughout my life and really didn't find anything for me. I was thinking about taking a college course on the 3 Abrahamic religions, when my "religious" friend invited me to her bible study group. I took her up on her offer since I'm a big reader especially concerning "classics" and thought, at the very least, that I should read the bible and know a little more about it.
During the study my illness prevented me from continuing with the group and I found myself stuck in bed with a bible by my side. Over a long period of time, without others, I read the bible. A book that I could never get into -- those very same words --God's words -- changed my life. Never in a million years did I think that would happen to me. In fact in my mind before I began the bible study I thought I will not let these people talk me into anything. Many friends and family are surprised and amazed how I have changed. Today reading it is a daily part of my life, not because I have to do it but because I really want to do it -- it speaks to me personally everyday.
I don't know what your experience will be. I love to read, so God revealed Himself to me through reading the bible. What do you enjoy doing? Maybe God will reach you that way . . .

God must have big things planned for your future . . .
