Do you recommend?: Yes! I very much enjoyed this storyline.

Do you recommend?: Yes. It was a good book. It's hard to say you like a book that illustrates how a family can fall apart, but it was very moving and engaging.

Do you recommend?: Yes. I stayed up late last night finishing this book into the wee hours. Sad and thoughtful, but too true.

Do you recommend?: Yes. I'm still thinking about the characters in this book.

Rachel A. (abyssallibrarian) | 643 comments I keep forgetting to update these posts when I finish the book.

Book title: My Life Next Door
Author: Huntley Fitzpatrick
Date finished: July 2, 2016
Do you recommend?: Yes. I wasn't so sure about it at first since it seemed like a pretty cliched kind of story, but by the end I really enjoyed it and there were more layers than I'd first thought.

Janet Cripe (jcripe) | 39 comments Book title: The Scent of Rain and Lightning
Author: Nancy Pickard
Date finished: July 12, 2016
Would I Recommend: this book was an okay read. It bounces around in the timeline from present to past to present to resolve a murder. Most of the book is set in the summer.

Do you recommend?: Yes. As I have mentioned before elsewhere, this was a little difficult to get through because I have a daughter named Lydia who turns 16 this Fall. Really enjoyed it. The characters stick with you for a while.

Michele Aylesbury (majkmom4) Book title: A Midsummer Night's Dream
Author: Shakespeare
Date finished: 7/27/2016
Recommend: If you like Shakespeare, yes, I'm sure you'd enjoy it. Me, not so much.

I realized for sure after reading this that I really don't like theatre. I don't like reading plays, watching plays, or acting in plays. Just not my thing.

Jessica Holbrook (jessicalh08) | 133 comments Book title (link if possible): Everything I Never Told You
Author: Celeste Ng
Date finished: 7/30/16
Do you recommend?: Yes, I liked that it was deep and thought provoking but I didn't have to struggle my way through it like I do with most other deeper books.
