I have only read War and Peace, and Anna Karenina so far. However I am interested in reading some of his works. In regards to which book I have read that I like so far. For me that would be a tie depending on my mood.

Ellie Blight | 1 comments I have read Anna Karenina and I would say it's one of the best books I've ever read. I was amazed by the psychological insight Tolstoy has. Also, the way he writes can be very emotive and I have found myself crying at certain parts because of how beautifully he writes.

Ellen Jones | 1 comments My name is Ellen. I finished reading 'War and Peace' and now started reading 'Anna Karenina'. I have had problems connecting with my friends with these books and have decided to expand to the internet to find people to talk to about them. Thank you.

Catalin Dinu As far as the short works of Leo Tolstoy are concerned, I would strongly recommend "What men live by". There are also other impressive short works, however, in my opinion, "What men live by" incorporates the most intimate beliefs of Tolstoy about the human goodness and the key role that it should play in our lives. Literary speaking, this novel is a masterpiece. It can be read in less than one hour - for me, this hour was one of the most beautiful in my life so far.
