Any book recommendations that help you understand a certain trauma or situation your clients may be experiencing?

I am a nubie to 'goodreads' but have 47 years of experience in the field of helping others as a counselor, psychologist, therapist, etc. and am interested in hearing what people in this group have to say about new books, thoughts, etc. I have recently written a book about "Choosing to Maintain Control of My Life" and I am wondering if it is appropriate to ask for feedback or comments here? Sorry if I have overstepped my boundaries. Please let me know and best wishes with your work. I actually would recommend a book "FORGIVENESS" by Sidney and Suzanne Simon for helping to heal trauma from physical and sexual abuse as well as other forgiveness issues.
