Sorry, guys. I feel like a giant bunghole. I'm always getting so irritated when people aren't on the ball, and I totally did it myself. I'm vacationing in Florida and had been in Disney and Goodreads just fell off my radar. I'm promise I'm not a flaky team member. I was on both the winning SS and SSS team last time.

I'm not good with rolling, as I'm not up early enough, I don't think. But if I get up for some strange reason and the roll hasn't been done, I'd be more than happy to do it (although it is SO, SO much pressure - ha ha).

I really wanted to like this book more. I loved Jake and Adam in the first book but in this book they annoyed me so many times. They both acted really immature and actually had tantrums. They were mean and down right rude to Serena at times as well. I didn't understand some of their reactions and I had to go back and re-read parts to try to figure out why they were so mad. I do however like the writing style. I love Ian and I really enjoyed Liam in this book as well. The suspense story was pretty good and not completely obvious. So while I was a bit disappointed in Adam and Jake I still enjoyed the book and will continue to read this series

I though it was lovely there was the love that devolved between Miles and Shelby. You also get to see the loves of all the other characters as well. I found Roland's story to be sad. He was able to see the girl he loves from a far because she is married to someone else.

Review - Although this wasn't the most well-written book I've ever read, I laughed. I cried. I felt invested in the characters and what was going to happen to them. It was a nice beach read for me today. I really liked Amelia and enjoyed reading a book in the POV of a strong, single mother.

I loved this book and I thought everything about this book original. It is the story of Sean and Eleannor who were step brother and sister got separated for 4 Years and found there way back together on the eve of her marriage to someone else.

Not really. You technically have until Thursday at 11:59p until you are late.

But if you ALL turn in your reviews by Wednesday night midnight, then your captain can roll at 12:01am Thursday morning. The roll are on Thursday, so it can be as early as 12:01am or midnight Thursday.
But earlier is always better, right?

Yeah, I don't want anyone waiting on me though. This was a tough one for me because I don't really read fighting books and I'm notoriously bad about starting series but then not finishing them. So I have like a million #2 and #3 books, but 8? I had one. One book to choose from. It's on the way from another library. Will be here tomorrow. I'm thinking about blowing off work tomorrow or Wednesday so I can get it read and no one is waiting on me. Ha ha. #TeamPlayer

Kim, if you message me that you need a bit of extra time. I can delay the roll for a little bit. That goes for everyone.

Review: This is a really quirky series, although Shelley Laurenston/G.A. Aiken writes really quirky books. The characters are over the top but humorous and somehow this series just works for me. I enjoyed both Gaius and Kachka and although there was a connection between the two there wasn't much of a romance. In fact, they spent more time apart then together. However, I enjoyed the action and this book moved the overall plot along quite a bit.

Review - I am so obsessed with this series and these characters. The cliffhanger on this one was kind of gut-wrenching, though. I feel kind of book-hangover-y now. Like I'm slipping into a mild depression because I have to wait so long for the next one. I think this is the series that I've continued on with the longest. Number 8! It's a new Kim Record! I didn't feel like as much happened in this book as some of the others, but I don't even care. I love all the characters so much, I'd probably read about them picking their teeth or doing their laundry.
