The sun shines through my dorm room window creating small speckles of light as it passes through the maroon curtains almost to short to cover the window at all. Three twin sized beds were situated into three nice lines. A dark brown night stand in between each space they left. An oak trunk held our clothes while our blue and black uniforms hung on hangers in the small closet that had a mirror strapped to the front of the sliding wooden door. My two roommates, Garret Barns and June Yu, sit on their beds looking at me.
In my hand I held an envelope with a letter in it so does the other girls. This would be our acceptation letter for ATTA. Air Transportation and Technology Association. We would be building the top air transportation in the world all by hand. Swallowing the lump in my throat I open the envelope. My eyes scan over the letter.
Dear Miss James, We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at ATTA, Air Transportation and Technology Assosiation. The term starts on August 1, 2031. Please be in your class by 7:15 am sharp. No later other wise you will be suspended and will have to retake the class.

While reading our room door swings open as June's brother runs in. "I made it in. In your face June!" He yells, slamming the letter down on the trunk. The three of us look at him while June just raises her eyebrows.
"Jokes on you idiot. So have I." She snaps.
"Oh wait so did I!" Garret claps as she grin. Garret isn't the fastest of the group but she's dang smart. I wouldn't be surprised if she got into ATTA and we didn't.
