Frank bolted nervously through the barn door, hoping with all his might that he would not see his parents for the rest of day.
The frigid wind whipped Cara's hair against her face, but she simply hugged the small sleeping parcel in her hands tighter against her warm body and forced herself to continue on through the storm.
The hot wind from the advancing inferno of the wildfire blew wisps of Cara's fiery red hair around her face, the long strands dancing as if calling to the entities within the firestorm.
