Sorry I'm a little late to this one. I'm starting now.

I'm starting now. I think I can see where this is headed. Fingers crossed that I enjoy the journey.

8% (view spoiler)[ What is it about senior year that suddenly propels a guy into acting on his feelings? The imminent departure and the fear of losing the girl? And why is it ok for the guys to have multiple girlfriends while supposedly giving the girl time to see him in a different light when he should've gathered courage long before? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I'm not sure if I like where this going. The author has decided to screw Evan over. He has been in love with Laney forever. Then when he gets her finally she is then going to end up with someone else. At this point there really wasn't any need for the first chunk of the book. (hide spoiler)]

80% (view spoiler)[ Ooo, Evan is going to be pissed that Dane has met Laney's Dad. And even worse, they seem to be getting along and he's gonna stay the night? Evan is gonna go nuclear! Oh, Lordy and he hit 'im with the "son". (hide spoiler)]

Finished. (view spoiler)[ I was always rooting for Dane because Evan just took too long to go after Laney. I didn't see what was standing in his way. That ending scene though, I really felt for Evan in that moment. Lying to him was a really douchey move for Laney to make. She was so wrapped up in Dane that even though she was thinking of Evan's feelings, she still ended up hurting him anyway since she should have known Evan would probably turn up looking for her. I think it serves to show what happens when you take something for granted and wait too long.
