Astra hummed, imagining a beautiful princess living in a far away land. until one day she was kidnapped
The other girl in the common room was humming and it was driving Kat up the wall. "God, will you cut that out," she screeched, flicking her perfectly curled hair over her shoulder.((Kat can be really rude but she gets better once she's warmed up to you))
"Um hello, sitting right here, " Kat glared. ((Just wondering had Damien been invited to the ball. Kat isn't going with anyone so maybe she could invite him as friends since theirs the age gap))
"Perhaps an ogre or a bear or a widow waiting for her son, a knight, to return" Astra tended to talk to herself
"when the knight returns he'll have the princess with him and they'll get married. and the widow will never be alone, especially not when watching her grand babies. " Astra smiled as she wrote. and she wrote fast.
Kat finally realized the girl was writing. Talking out loud, how weird. The girl kept talking and Kat groaned, covering her ears.
"I'm sorry but who do you think you are," deep down Kat felt a little bad. She hoped she hadn't really hurt the girls feelings.
Astra furrowed her brows. "If you're not going to be nice you shouldn't be around other people. Unless you want to be treated like how you treat other people"
"Alright fine," Kat said annoyed. Who did this girl think she was trying to guilt trip her. It was even working...kinda.
Kat flicked her wand, hidden in her lap. Causing fiery sparks to shoot through the air towards the girl. She knew she could get in huge trouble if anyone saw but it would be worth it.
Liam walked out of his office and into the common room where he saw Katherine practicing magic on another student. He was bit having this. "Katherine. Astra. Office now he growled angrily.
Alan slumped down staring at his homework. The letters swarmed on from of his face. Stupid dyslexia he cursed inwardly.
Jazzy wandered into the commons while humming. She noticed a boy her age doing homework. "Hey!" She greeted him happily. She sat in a seat across from him
"Yup and you're... Hang on I know this." Jazzy looked up at the sky while holding a hand out. "Ah... Arnold? No.... Alex?" She muttered. "Umm Anchovies... Anchovies? Who would name someone Anchovies?!" She look at him, confused. "Your name isnt Anchovies right?"
Alec laughed so hard he began to cry. Through his hysterical tears he introduced himself. "I'm Alec, not anchovies," he'd already decided he liked this girl. Aside from Echo he hadn't made many friends but this girl is definitely someone he liked.
"Oh good because that would be a terrible name!" Jazzy said, smiling. "Watcha doin?" She asked, peering down at his work then glanced up at him. She started to mindlessly tap her fingers to a beat of a song she was currently making up.
"I'm trying to do my transfiguration homeworkers but I'm not really good at school. I have dyslexia and focus problems," he said in his typical voice which was about three octaves louder than your average person. "I don't mind though! Ilvermony is so AWESOME!!!"
"I know right?! It's so amazing and I never even knew I had magic in my blood until the letter camp." Jazzy said. She smiled brightly at him then looked at his homework again. "Transfiguration... Thats were you chang stuff into different stuff, right?" She asked, studying the homework.
'"I uh think so. I'm not vet good at school, or magic in general. My spells usually backfire! But that's ok because if at first you fail, TRY TRY AGAIN," God sand in a fine that was so ridiculously cheerful it was funny. "I'm sorry if I'm a little loud, I JUST GET REALLY EXCITED!!! Mum says I'm overzealous,"
Jazzy just kept smiling at him. She strudied his nose while saying, "Uh, you lost me there." She looked down at her feet that were now tapping a base line to go with her fingers. She stared at nothing then looked back at him. "Oh Im Jazzy by the way!"
Jazzy shrugged. "Why Alec if your name is Alexander. Wouldn't people call you Alex instead?" She asked. She eyed him, trying to figure it out.
"Where di Alec come from? Did someone come up with it? Did you come up with it or was it just a mis-pronunciation. I dont see how Alex could be mis-pronunciated that much though." Jazzy babbled while looking at the celling. She looked at Alec, anxioiusly waiting for her answer.
((Sorry. Dont mind my spelling...))
"I'm dyslexic. So one day I got the letters mixed up when I was spelling it and I put the c instead of the x. After that it just stuck. So were you invited to the ball? You're a first year right?,"
"Oh ok." Jazzy said. "No. Only third years and up are allowed to go to the ball. First years can go but only if they are asked by a third year. I havent been asked, so Im pretty sure Im not going." She babbled. She looked at Alec with a smile when she finished.
