So I was wondering what types of books everyone likes to read.

I myself read pretty much any genre but I think my favourite's have to be fantasy and mystery's

my reading preferences vary, i have been reading a deal of modern social/economical books, paul masons book on capitalism, thomas piketty and his view that society's tide if growing inequality will lead ro rhe demise of capitalism. I also read a great deal of historical books , especially shakespearian and elixabethan times, . I enjoy biographies and incorporate my musical tastes with the lives of people kurt cobain, bob dylan, ian curtis, david bowie and john lennon. Mu book tastes are similar to my widespread musical tastes, from jazz through delta blues and blues generally to bowie, bjork, david sylvian and rock generally.

I like to read several books at a time each from a different genre because my taste changes depending on how I feel that day. I like sci fi and historical fiction. I'll read anything accept horror.

I have tried reading multiple book at a time but I always end up getting confused.

I never read social/economical books.

Me too Aly! I currently have 8 books going. I don't dig sci fi, westerns or bodice rippers. I love chick lit, fantasy, urban supernatural, inspirational, mysteries, historical, time travel, some nonfiction like biographies or periods of time that I am interested in, anything by Jen Hatmaker and also some Christian books
