My story, "The Crow", one of four in "The Red Grouse Tales", will be available for free download from Amazon on the 2nd and 3rd August 2016 in, I hope, exchange for an honest review on Amazon and goodreads.

An Amazon UK reviewer gave it 5 stars and commented, "Best of the bunch, is original, well told and with a lovely twist."

"Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity," Ecclesiastes. The story centres on this and our desire to achieve something worth while in our lives, but it is a sad, poignant one of misunderstanding, bitterness and blame.
