On the Lips of Children from Books of the Dead Press
byMark Matthews
(Amazon Link: http://www.amazon.com/On-Lips-Childre...)
Meet Macon. Tattoo artist. Runner. Father of one. He's planning to run a marathon, but the event becomes something terrible.
During a warm-up run, Macon falls prey to a bizarre man and his wife who dwell in an underground drug-smuggling tunnel. They raise their twin children in a way Macon couldn't imagine: skinning unexpecting victims for food and money.
And Macon, and his family, are next. 26.2 miles never hurt like this.
*The title is based on the phrase, "Mother is the word for God on the lips of all children" and the content is based on an actual run on a dark, San Diego trail. (at least that's what the author tells me)
A Love Beyond Time by Dante Craddock

True Love Makes Anything Possible.
It is the most powerful of all emotions, through its power even time can be transcended.
Ashley Brannock has always thought she was just an ordinary woman, like so many others. She has a loving boyfriend. A great job. She has everything she could have ever wanted. But she has always felt that something was missing. She’s never quite been able to pin down what it is. All she knows is that it’s been there her whole life.
Then the dream begins, throwing her life into total chaos. She must now find the answers to the dream. Why her? What is it showing her? The answers will open a whole new view of the world to her. This new view will reveal to her that love can go beyond time.
When two people fall in love they create a magic that is all their own. This magic has incredible power.

13 is the story of random souls pitted against the tragedy of the modern world.
Will they decipher the unknown and make it out alive?

I would like to nominate my own book Fangless from my adult vampire romance/revenge series
E.M. Reders
The vampire world is a dangerous place at the best of times, but especially so during a war. Though there is one safe place left...‘Dead Fang Hotel.’ But it’s not a sanctuary for all its residents.
For Bree it is nothing but a prison. A prison in which to hide from her enemies and the horrors of her dark past. She hates the place and after being carted back there after yet another attempt at escape decides that she has had enough of her constant captivity. Things have to change. The biggest change comes in the form of a tall, dark, sexy as hell vampire assassin... Gabriel
But as the two grow ever closer she begins to worry that her past may cost her even more pain than it already has.
I mean who could love a Fangless vampire.
*This book is Intended for Mature YA/Adult audiences due to sexual content*
I edited The Best Ghost Stories 1800-1849: A Classic Ghost Anthology
Best Ghost Stories Anthology on Amazon
Ghost stories became very popular in the first half of the nineteenth century and this collection contains the very scariest of them all. Some stories thought too horrific were published anonymously like “A Night in a Haunted House” and “The Deaf and Dumb Girl.” The later story is collected for the first time in any anthology since its original publication in 1839.
The other ghost stories in this fine collection are by famous authors. “The Mask of the Red Death,” by Edgar Allan Poe; “A Chapter in the History of a Tyrone Family,” by Joseph Sheridan le Fanu; “The Spectral Ship,” by Wilhelm Hauff ; “The Old Maid in the Winding Sheet,” by Nathaniel Hawthorne; “The Adventure of the German Student,” and “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” by Washington Irving; as well as “The Tapestried Chamber,” by Sir Walter Scott.
This collection includes story backgrounds, author photos and a foreword titled "All Ghosts Are Gray." Buy the book today and be ready to be scared.
