I don't know about everywhere else, but in the U.S., The Fault in Our Stars movie is coming out on June 6th. They are already showing the trailer on TV. I'm so excited. Thoughts?

I know. But every time I see a book become a movie I think of all the people who didn't read the book who are going to watch the movie, and it makes me a little angry.
Although I would have preferred the portrayal of Isaac to be by someone who actually looks like he did in the book, Nat Wolff I guess is still good. I mean, John Green is really excited about everything and he has no problems with anything about the movie, so I think It'll be good.
I'm so excited for the movie too! It comes out on the 20th in the UK and I really hope they do a premiere over here. It does suck though when you see a movie with people who haven't read the book because they just don't get it! Probably won't be as good as the book, no movies ever are, but I'm sure it will be great anyway because of the good cast etc.
Don't worry about Nat. John green vouched for him saying that he embodied Isaac amazingly well. And the movie belongs to all of us, just like the book and it won't change what it means to you even if someone who didn't read it watched it.
Haha I can't wait for it, I'm gonna be shaking with excitement through the whole movie!
I am so excited for the movie I like the cast and I think all if the actors are good for their parts I can't wait!
I get to see it on my birthday with a bunch of friends (some of whom ((did I use that right?)) haven't read the book. I know, I'm mean) and I'm really excited to see it! I have no problem with the cast. after all, it's not about looks most of the time, it's about the acting. if they all portray the characters well, then I'm okay with the cast!
I haven't seen the trailer on tv here in the Philippines but if I did i will really scream because of happiness :D. The movie will premiere on June 4 here. I just can't wait to see it, it will be awesome.
And don't forget Nat. They all fit so well. At least in the trailer. Can't wait to watch the whole thing!
well the appearance doesn't matter as long as he embodies the character for what he is. Helpless when he gets left alone, slightly sarcastic and funny in the hospital. And the trophy scene.
As long as that is done well, I think he will fit the role perfectly.
I'm totally psyched out. This was the book that got me into nerdfighteria!!! The only problem is, only one theater in my area (which is CRAZY populated) is showing. Really crossing my finger that I can get in...
It's coming out here in the Philippines on June 5th!! Can't contain my excitement!!! Geeezz. How I wish we could all watch tfios together just so we could all cry and laugh at the same time!! Haha :) It'd be such an unforgettable day if ever it happens. :)
I love love love love love tfios, i've been a nerdfighter for about a year now and I'm in Britain so i have to wait till the 19th June :( DFTBA

It's as if I ran the marathon, they rode a golf cart, and we both got the same participation ribbon at the end.
I am really exited to see John in the movie :'D
I think he announced that he would have a small part in the movie :)

Btw. Has anyone read "This star won't go out"? It's kinda TFiOS-related so I'm asking in this group if that's OK :)

seriously? that sounds awesome!
But I think I read somewhere that they had to cut out johns appearance in the movie but it will be in the DVD but I'm not entirely sure if that is true?
Oh no! I hope that we will se him in the movie on theater's :(
Saw the movie on May 3rd (NYC Fan Screening). I tell you, this movie will make you feel. Bring a tissue box, people. It, although sad, is beautiful, funny, and amazing. Shailene and Ansel were amazing. 10/10, do recommend.
Whaaaat? Wow, you're so lucky you got to see it! I can't wait! I'm a really loud cryer (?) so I'm terrified that everyone will be like "what the heck is wrong with her?"
Because I WILL cry during the whole movie...
Aha, don't worry. Everybody will understand, it's an emotional movie. Hell, my mom cried (don't tell her I said that).
I'm living in Sweden and we have to wait for 23 more days because the premiere is on June 22nd here and I'm exploding soon because I CAN NOT WAIT! :'(
Living in Denmark and I get to see the Premier of TFIOS tomorrow!!!❤️❤️❤️ I can't wait! But since I have read the book nearly a thousand times, I have REEEAAALLLYYY high expectations.....! :0000 I can only hope the movie will be nearly as good as the book!!
I was reading stuff about Nat, didn't FOX 2000 buy the rights to Paper Towns and he is going to be Q? (he being Nat)
