SCPL Online NonFiction Book Club discussion

Our senses emit some of the most vivid memories. Some of mine are about birds from when I was a child on a camping trip. Early in the morning I would hear the crows calling from the tops of the pines and the mourning doves’ soft call throughout the forest. Since then I’ve always had a sense of peace and relaxation when I hear those birds, no matter where I am.

As we move through the introduction and into the opening chapters and you reflect on your own connection to the birding world – what are your thoughts about birds and the memories they bring to mind?
