Something spooky? OK, how about Dragonfly by Frederic S. Durbin? Which I recall as being somewhere between Ray Bradbury and Tim Burton.
Dragonfly looks good, especially the cover. Sadly, as I can't get it on kindle you aren't getting my 2nd!
However Sabriel can, I've owned this forever.

Oh I love spooky stories. I don't have anything to nominate, I'll make note of everything mentioned here :-p
Sister Sable looks very good, is it spooky enough? I second it!October, spooky (and a little humor), what about A Night in the Lonesome October by Roger Zelazny? There is an ebook version, too, even though Amazon doesn't list it.
I'll nominate Fevre Dream by George R.R. Martin. A nice little vampire tale that should fit the bill really well. I'll second A Night in the Lonesome October.
I'll nominate The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. A good read at Halloween time. Gaiman also narrates a very good audio version which is free here: http://www.openculture.com/2014/05/ne...
Though the "spooky" idea came from a conversation about A Lonesome Night in October, I hesitated to nominate it, because I remembered the availability was bad.: (
However, I did just download a pdf version for free, I hope it's legit.
The reviews are fantastic, for the most part.
Alissa wrote: "Sister Sable looks very good, is it spooky enough? I second it!"I haven't read Sister Sable myself but I've read the reviews and it's labeled as primarily fantasy and then paranormal and thriller. There's a debate that maybe it should be labeled as Fantasy Horror, so maybe? A lot of reviews claim it to be a "dark twisted tale".
Might I add that Sister Sable's only $2.99 on kindle!
Faerie Tale by Raymund E. Feist. It deals with the land of Fae in a not so pretty way.And The Great Hunt can be frightening.

A Night in the Lonesome October doesn't seem to be on kindle, sadly. Also seems to be rough to find in general.
I updated my other comment to make it clear I was talking about Sister Sable. Sorry!
Sorry yall I'm a newbie to the group. This is the first time I have gotten submit a book. I would like to nominate Sunshine by Robin McKinley. I just don't know how to link it with the book on goodreads for it to count. If someone could assist I would appreciate it. thanks Jamie
You use the "add book/author" link above the box when you comment, and search, and add like this:Sunshine by Robin McKinley

Oh, I see! Actually the book was recommended to me some months ago, and I thought it was intriguing but the electronic availability was nil. A friend provided an ePub/mobi copy, I think it's probably legit or at least, there are no copyrights in it.... It looks good too, I've read a few pages.
Israfela, great! Sister sable is definitely on my TBR !!
