If you're a book buyer, how do you organize your books? By genre? By colour? By Author? Let us know

I organise my books by author as it makes it easier to see what I have left to read.

I organize mine by classics, religion, non-fiction and general fiction and must have them alphabetized by author within each genre. I am a little OCD about it.
I have a shelf for favorites, a book for to-reads, and a shelf for ok books. Then i have my kindle. I am running out of space quickly though
I have a shelf of the books I'm going to read soon, a shelf of books I've finished, and a shelf of book I have to read sometime.
One bookcase is half favorite books and have TBR immediately books. The other case is all TBR books, organized by hardcover and series, then paperpback, then tall hardcovers. I also have a lot of book bins:Bin1: First of series that I read but didn't read other books of that series and standalone read books
Bin2&3: TBR that don't fit on shelves
Bin4: Children's books
Bin 5: Goosebumps books and R.L. Stine books
My non fiction books are on a small shelf in my closet
I also have a shelf at my moms house which has more nonfiction, more YA read books and tbr as well as more children's books
I have a book buying problem
