I've been reading the series in single issues and I think it's one of the best titles Marvel is publishing right now. The characters are all interesting and seem real, there's a real coming-of-age feel to Kamala's story, and it's nice to get an ethnically diverse setting.
I'll echo the two posters above and 'marvel' (hahahaha sorry) at how great this series is. Kamala's an awesome character, and she is written so well: she really feels like a teenager with a drive for justice--or an eagerness to understand what justice is for her. The stories are a great combination of humour, action, and drama, and I think we can all agree that Marvel as a whole is best when it manages to strike that balance. This first volume in particular is one that I love to re-read: it's a great origin story, and we're introduced to Kamala, her friends, and her family in a matter of pages that leave us feeling committed to their stories.Really, really great read.
