Silver walked onto the grounds and knocked on the door. She saw a cool house and wondered who lived in it. New place, new town, new people to annoy. She smiled. She loved driving people nuts with her illusions.
((You're going to have to edit that. Silver would've appeared in the HP universe from the Marvel universe so she wouldn't know anything about the HP universe))
Lucius looked up from the book he was reading. He wondered who could've possibly knocked. It shouldn't have anything to do with the apothecary. Narcissa was in the kitchen, and Draco never knocked so it couldn't possibly be him. Lucius stood up and walked to the door answering it. "Yes?" He looked at the girl in front of him. He didn't recognize her at all.
Silver smiled. "Hello sir. Do you know the residents of this marvelous mansion?" She hoped if she flattered him, he would let her look around or tell her where is at, at least.
"That would be me and my family," Lucius said, holding his head high. Even after everything the Malfoys were still a prestigious and wealthy family. Though they weren't ones to have servants or even house elves at this point. In fact after Dobby, Lucius wasn't a fan of house elves.
Silver whistled. "I should have guessed that you lived. Do have servants here? Surely a rich man like you must have servants." Okay, he's proud of who he is and what he does. That makes him easy to flatter. Hopefully.
"No. I don't," Lucius said, narrowing his eyes a bit. Surely this must be some muggle that stumbled upon his manner. He wasn't too happy about that.
Silver smiled. "Glad I came then. I love working, cleaning and most of all, entertaining." Silver created a small burst of colorful light from her fingertips. "And that isn't all that I can do, sir."
((Awesome.))Silver smiled to herself. A free ticket in? Why not! She walked into the house and looked around. Sweet She whistled a little, impressed by the house.
"So what is it that you can do exactly?" Lucius asked. he was interested in what she could do. it certainly wasn't normal magic.
Lucius nodded and showed her around, telling her where the kitchens were and the cleaning supplies. Then he showed her to her room.
((Once again, awesome))Silver smiled the whole time, taking mental notes. She loved her room and turned to him. "IS there anything I can do for you?"
Silver excused herself and went the direction of the kitchens but went out a door she saw. She was able to get out and she walked back to where she was from. She smiled, it was fun.
Lucius finished some papers he had for work then walked out to the balcony. He wondered where Draco was. He was never sure where Draco went most of the time. Lucius could hardly ever find his son, unless Draco came to him.
Draco had been lurking the outer walls of Malfoy Manor, searching for new ways to sneak out at night without his parents knowing. He decided to give it up and get back inside where it was a lot warmer. Stepping foot in the foyer, he tracked snow inside from his shoes. Draco stalked up to his room thinking about applying for a job somewhere. He thought of the possibilities, heading up to his room, but instead stopped at the balcony where his father was standing.
Lucius heard Draco and turned around. the corners of his lips almost turned up into a smile. "Draco. How are you?" Lucius really was trying to be a better father.
"I'm well, father." It has been awhile since they've had a conversation together. He found it odd that he was standing on the balcony alone. A sneer was still splintered upon his face as he stared across the balcony at his father. Ever since the Dark Lord fell he felt a sense of disgust that Lucius could have done something, anything to prevent Voldemort's death. Draco grimaced in disgust.
Lucius nodded. "That's good" He glanced back out at the grounds. a small sigh escaped his lips. he was doing what he could do to be a better father. though what he had done in the past would never change.
"Well, I'll be going then." Draco said. He could tell his father was trying hard for something. But for what? Draco turned on his heel and stalked off until he reached the door of his room. He went inside and locked the door behind him.
