Hey guys! My name is Sarah. I am 22 and live in The Great State of Texas! I have a love for all things reading and spend just as many hours reading a week that I do working.

I will read absolutely anything that I can get my hands on. There are very few books that I will not push through to the ending even if they cant keep my interest.

I live in a small apartment with my husband, my puppy, and my never ending mountain of laundry.

I really look forward to meeting all of you and the new members to come!

I'll bite :) I am Mari and live in the suburbs of Hot'lanta, Georgia - about 45 minutes north of the city. Born and raised here; lived in southern Florida for 8 years, and now back to my native state. Miss the year round sunshine for sure!

I LOVE to read but don't spend as much time doing it as I'd like as life gets in the way. I tend to lean towards modern fiction, memoirs, autobiographies, suspense/scary. The book club I am in has stretched me so that I like *some* historical fiction and will finally read books that were based earlier than 1950, even read (and loved) The Dovekeepers which was LONG and based in 70 AD - way out of my comfort zone! Unless it's a book for my book club, I will put down a book if I can't get into it in the first few chapters. Sometimes I'll pick it up again at a later time...Time Traveler's Wife took me 5 tries but once I got into it I LOVED it.

I work full time for a telecom company (don't love my job but it pays the bills), and have a SMALL catering "business" because I LOVE to cook. I'm married and have a 19 year old daughter in her second year of college about 2 hours away. Somehow she does not love to read which breaks my heart but hopefully she will come around some day.

We also have five cats (Maggie, Mercy, Mia, Molly and Mubsy) and a dog (Millie). Crazy stuff!

I'm Victoria. I love reading romance of all kinds. Some fiction and YA too. I absolutely will give up on a book at the first sentence (especially if it's in first person pov and in present tense) or after 100 pages of I don't know or care where it's going. I live in the Bay Area of California and teach tutoring, reading and writing workshops.

Hi! I´m Sara. I live in Madeira, Portugal. I am 21 and I am a university student. I love reading and writing. In this year I read 100 books. I like every type of book. But my favorites are the classics and fantasy literature. My favorite books are Harry Potter, The Lord of rings, The tale of two cities, Jane Eyer, Pride and Prujudice, Sevenwaters triology and many others. Presently I am in love for Outlander, especially for Jaime Fraser. And I love the Leonardo Dicapiro movies.

Hey, everyone! I'm Q, 32, from Texas as well. I love reading. I will read just about anything. I make it through just about every book. I just have to know what happens even in a book I dont like. Stange, I know. I mostly enjoy reading historical fiction, biographies, YA, some fantasy, fairytales, classics and sometimes romance. I have four children from 5 to 14 so I do read a lot of childrens books with them as well.

Hi all! My name is Jody and I live in the fly over state of South Dakota. Reading is my most favorite thing to do, but I also enjoy gardening, coloring, and goofing off on the Internet. I have two dogs, who are my babies. Peeka, is a mini Yorie, and Boo, is a small Bichon. They can be pains, but they are my constant companions. I am married to a great guy, but he doesn't read very much. When we travel though, he loves when I play books on audible. I have a son named Zachary. It is amazing how the ones you love the most are also the ones that frustrate you the most! Lol! We are very close though.

I'm Julie from Norway, and I looove to read! I read mostly romance books, but I can enjoy other genres. I despise books with love triangles it makes me soooo mad! And I don't particularly like to read books without happy endings, reading is an escape, and I prefer to escape to a happy place ;)

My friends aren't readers like I am, so I love spending my time here in goodreads with likeminded people. You guys get the addiction that is books <3

I also absolutely LOVE series. It sounds crazy but it is amazing to keep reading the next book in a series because I feel like the story goes so much further!

I love series too. I completely agree with you, it feels like you get to know the world and the characters so much better. The story feels deeper and sucks me in more. :)

Hi Caprina! (: Glad you joined us. I am the exact same way about library books. It's hysterical. I literally checked out like 40 books in three days because I was reading so much at the time and I got so overwhelmed that I've kind of backed off reading. I have about 12 checked out right now. I am trying to get through those before I go to anything else right now. I haven't actually finished a book in a month because I couldn't concentrate on reading because I was so burned out. I found a pretty decent read on this site though and I picked it up from the library so we will see how this goes!

I love setting reading goals because I feel so accomplished when I hit them. You have a really good reading list. I've read a few of them and they are all great reads! I look forward to getting to know you more! (:

We actually had no hits on the poll for November so unfortunately there will not be a book this month but I am about to make the discussion for next months book list!
