Rebecca | 225 comments I haven't been reading paranormal romance lately because I feel like I've read all the best ones and I'm just disappointed when others don't compare. But now I'm looking to get back in the genre again. So I need some really good recommendations! I'm looking for a series where the main characters are the same throughout the series and the series must be complete because I hate waiting for the next book. :) I'm open to anything paranormal. Vampires, witches, werewolves, aliens, whatever. Some of my favorites are Fever series, Vampire Academy, Night Huntress. I'm also open to YA. Thanks in advance!

Mlpmom (Book Reviewer) (mlpmombookreviewer) | 839 comments Have you tried the Weird Girls by Cecy Robson? There is a spin off series in the works (first book out) but the actual series is all out.

Chelsea (vampirebookclub) | 89 comments It's more urban fantasy, but since you like Night Huntress, I'd highly suggest checking out Chloe Neill's Chicagoland Vampires series.

˚✧₊⁎ѕαи∂у⁎⁺˳✧༚ (greysandy) | 13 comments I read YA mainly because of my boys. Only one is okay with romance. The other one more sci-fi. My favorites so far are by Lilith Saintcrow
The Demon's Librarian by Lilith Saintcrow

I would agree, but the series is not finished Book #13 isn't scheduled for Publication until April, and I am not sure if that is the last one or not, as I am only up thru book #9.

Have you read ....
~ The Sabina Kane series by Jaye Wells
~ The Dark Days series by Jocelynn Drake
~ or The Asylum Tales (3 books) also by her.
~ Signs of the Zodiac series by Vicki Pettersson
~ The Allie Beckstrom series by Devon Monk
~ The Hollows series by Kim Harrison
~ The Greywalker series by Kat Richardson
~ The Kitty Norville series by Carrie Vaughn
Those are all complete series I can think of at the moment, some with spin-offs, but I know I am forgetting some good one.

I am not sure if these are done, but think so
~ Anna Strong Chronicles series by Jeanne C. Stein
~ Cassandra Palmer & Dorina Basarab series both by Karen Chance

Ones that are not finished but most of have at least 10 books already and I would recommend are....
~ Kate Daniels series and the related POV's by Ilona Andrews
~ Mercy Thompson series & the spin-off Alpha & Omega by Patricia Briggs
~ Elemental Assassin series by Jennifer Estep
~ The October Daye series & also The InCryptid series by Seanan McGuire
~ Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series by Yasmine Galenorn

Quit self promoting, I found you promoting this book on other posts as well. How can you recommend a book that has zero ratings and zero reviews? This book has zero relevance to what the creater of this post has asked!!!

This is true. Book 13 is the last one. She is doing a spin-off series, though, which I think will be so good. It'll be focused on the shifter side of things!

Daylarie Fear University by Meg Collett
The Killing Season (Fear University, #2) by Meg Collett
Monster Mine (Fear University, #3) by Meg Collett
This series was a pleasant surprise!

Theowlsnest | 2 comments Well I have read a lot that I love but I recently read Elemental Paladins series by Montana ash and loved it. And I also read Blood destiny series by Helen Harper a bit ago and loved them also!

message 23: by Rosemary (new)

Rosemary Johns | 2 comments There are some great British ones if you want to go into more urban than romance - like Outlander, Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell, A Discovery of Witches, Rivers of London, Benedict Jacka's paranormal London series... trying to think of different things because so many of the books I love have already been said! I love the Night Huntress, Chicagoland Vampires and Fever... all classics.

Kristina (kristinabarrons-kyle) | 7 comments If you love KMM, definitely check out Amelia Hutchins Fae Chronicles series (Barron like alpha, yum). Her spin offs are great too although they're not finished.

Richelle Mead's Succubus Blues series is one of my all time faves with great paranormal world, yummy characters, flawed but strong heroine & angst!

Kim Harrison's Dead Witch Walking The Hollows series has one of the most unique world building with an amazing heroine & the best secondary characters.

I also second Darynda Jones, Suzanne Wright, & Cecy Robson.

Hi! It stands for the author, Karen Marie Moning. And, if you don't know her that means you get to read them for the first time! I'm jealous! The fever series is THE BEST!

message 26: by Pratibha (new)

Pratibha R.D.H. (authorpratibha) Kelley Armstrong's "Otherworld" series is my favourite and also Kay Hooper's Shadow trilogy and Bishop series.
