Children's Book Authors/Illustrators discussion

I'm ready to upload my book at Ingram Spark with the intent to have a hard cover version of my book for libraries and bookstores, but they are saying the book needs to have 48 or more pages to have a spine big enough to print the title and author on the spine. My book is only 32 pages. Has anyone found a way to put the title and spine on a book with 32 pages at Ingram Spark?

Libraries and bookstores might accept paperback copies.
