I found a reference to Makoko (a slum, built largely on stilts in a lagoon, in Lagos) in The Bright Continent and am interested in reading more about it. Does anyone know of any books -- preferably nonfiction -- on Makoko, or at least with more than a few sentences about it?

Thanks! Yes, I found a handful of articles on the floating school (which, frankly, sounds like it could be the starting point for a book itself, although I suppose it's too new for that). So far the only book I've been able to find mention of is a self-pubbed photography(?) book (which I would totally read, were it accessible and not wickedly expensive).Unfortunately not the first time I've known exactly what I want to read about and then struggled to find books about it!
We should have some sort of thing where we pitch ideas to writers/publishers as readers. "We want to read about THIS."
For anyone who's interested, I just came across this article: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/artic...Not a ton of info, but some interesting photographs.
