Questions that Need Answers!

I just finished the book, and now I don't what to do with life right now. I'm still trapped in the world of the series, and there's no leaving until I'm satisfied with answers to my questions.
1. Did Cassie know the capsule would kill her? If so, how? I don't remember reading any part where she gains knowledge about it?
2. I know Cassie dies, but was she in a space-ship type thing when it happened? How did they find her?
3. How did the survivors brings Evan's memories back to him with Cassie being dead?
4. The survivors are living like they're one big family now? Am I imagining this?
What else am I forgetting? The whole ending just confused me, but I think I highlighted my biggest questions in this post. For those who indeed answer any or all of my questions I say "thank you" in advance.

100% agree with everything Jade said. The only question I had was about the Silencers. Do they know the mothership is gone and they won't be going to join "their kind"? Or will it be a never ending cycle of Silencers VS humans until one or the other die out?
Side note: I would LOVE a spinoff series that goes into what happens with Earth after as well as the other characters later. Like maybe an adult Sam/Megan and aging Marika/Ben? Would be super cool.
