It can be a bit hard to read at times. It took me longer than I expected.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Flaubert's Parrot.....and what a perfect timing after our previous choice of Madame Bovary.....puts a great deal into perspective for me.....and I love Julian Barnes' style.....never knowing quite what is real and what is not.....not unlike Flaubert and indeed Bowie.....wonderful.
