The same edition has been duplicated. Someone has added it using the ISBN 41183923 and someone else has added the same book using the ISBN 9780141183923. I have the book on hand, it is a Penguin Classic and its ISBNs (from the barcode) are 41183923 and 9780141183923, and when I tried to add the 13-ISBN and the contributor Katie Owen it wouldn't let me because the 13-ISBN had been used for a separate edition of the same book. The correct cover pic has a picture of a drink and an ashtray. Could someone please combine the two books, thanks.

41183923 might be a barcode, but is not an isbn, as an isbn should have 10 digits, not 8.
Publishers sometimes re-use the same isbn with a different cover, as seems to be the case for this book. On Goodreads, the isbn can only be attached to one edition (and that is the one that is added first to Goodreads). Other editions should be added as alternate cover editions.

There are even two different covers with a drink and an ashtray, marked both as alternate cover editions and included links to these editions on the edition with the isbn.

Yes, you are right, the book with 41183923 has a note to say that the ISBN should be checked, and according to the book I have it should be 0141183923 (10 digits) and also 9780141183923
So that 8-digit ISBN should be corrected, and perhaps then the two books will merge.

No merge, because the covers are different. They are already combined.
