Amy Of Tarth | 129 comments You forget the sound your voice used to make
Keeping quiet
Against your will
So they don't see you shake.
Your hands will tremble
Your mind a mess
A tangle of wires knotted, broken, destroying everything
Just wait until you confess.
To the things you did
The things you could have done
Watching
Waiting
Staring as your mind gradually became undone.
To the tune of their triumph
Your surrender
The marching band forcing you down
And everything else that you will render.
Knees to the floor
Watching
Waiting
Lash of their tongues against your skin, your wounds
Planning to beat you more
At the admittance of your crimes, your sins
No one listens to your cry
No one dares look you in the eye.
So lower your head
Close those dead eyes
Admit that you're wrong
And pretend that they're right.

Hallie (inkyhallie) I have a different and mundane style of naming my poems, so I'll pass suggesting a name. However, I loved this!
