Quote for the book Hypnosis the Key to Self-Empowerment

Hypnosis is as old as humanity since it involves establishing selective thinking. In the case of hypnotherapy, we are given suggestions to the subconscious mind in order to cure a problem.

A properly trained and licensed health professional can address mental health issues, as well as other medical problems from a psychosomatic perspective using the mind body connection.

Throughout the history of hypnosis, its use has been repressed in a number of cases; still hypnosis is not yet fully embraced by the general public as a viable means for healing the mind and body. In the field of neuroscience, we no longer need to convince scientists that hypnosis is real and can have a major impact; scientists now make use of hypnosis for testing various conditions of the human mind. Furthermore, an increasing number of hospitals are using hypnosis either for problems such as irritable bowel syndrome and pain elimination; moreover, some operations are performed with hypnosis as the sole anesthetic.

The use of hypnosis could dramatically reduce the cost of healthcare. While it could be a viable means to prevent illness, it still it does not have the place it deserves. In the mind of many people, including physicians and dentists, hypnosis is considered ‘hocus pocus’ and not believable. That is contrary to extensive scientific research that has been conducted and the great results that have been established in many fields in relation to hypnosis. One of the major factors that hypnosis is not widely used in our society is the fact that it is not linked to an important business model which generates large amounts of money. Money is the driving force behind much in our society, including the health industry. Whereas Western 'medicine' is unparalleled in history with regard to issue areas such as emergency, surgery, heart failure and such, the results for curing people from chronic diseases and illnesses such as cancer lag behind.
