Kendric Boykin (new_writer24) | 13 comments My favorite book or books is The Bluford Series. I first started reading the series in high school. The Bully was required reading for my freshman english class. I like the lessons behind each stories. I would like to see them turned into movies.

Dana Burkey (danaburkey) I just finished reading City of Embers and that was an amazing series!! I did not hear about it tun, and I wish I did, so it meant that it was being read more!! I also really love The Host, as a stand alone! I don't really feel like the series needs more... Finally, I LOVE Percy Jackson, the first series, and so on!! So well done weaving history into the world we know, with characters we cannot help but love! :D

I have not heard of the Blueford Series...but for sure will look into it! :)

Loved Divergent…until the last book that is. I hated the ending. Seriously Roth?!?! Did you slam your face into the keyboard for entire second half of the book?!? I apologize to anyone who loved Allegiant because that was a bit harsh…

So yeah!

message 41: by Hannah (last edited Jun 12, 2014 05:25PM) (new)

Hannah Kelly (herfictionalfelicities) Harry Potter. Best YA novels ever. I will never forget them and Snape and Draco are two of my favorite characters. JK Rowling changed my life. she taught me everyone deserves. Second chance and redemption is real. It's sounds cliche but its true.

Ivy The 3rd Harry Potter book.

message 46: by Annaliese (last edited Jun 19, 2014 05:36PM) (new)

Annaliese (goodreadscomannaliese_marie) Oh boy…this question is hard. Really hard. I have to say that I really enjoyed "Fangirl" by Rainbow Rowell.

I loved the concept, and it was my first Rainbow book…
However, all of John Green's books are next. All of them.

Harry Potter was a good series, but I read them in elementary school/6th grade, so I don't consider them young adult fiction, simply because I've gotten a taste of other types (aka John Green and some profanity in his books)

Not saying that I liked the profanity, it is just different and now I have a different definition of "young adult fiction". What is your definition for YA?

message 47: by [deleted user] (new)

If I stay

The Hunger Games
Caster Chronicles and
Percy Jackson/ Heroes of Olympus ( My Dad says it's a kid's book but I just love it. )
