The Booklanders discussion

After months of people suggesting that I set up a newsletter for this book club, I've finally done it!

The newsletter will be sent out once a week and its contents will consist of information about the upcoming meeting/books we're reading along with relevant events (book release parties/author events and signings/etc) in and around Auckland that you might want to participate in. These will not be lengthy, most will simply include vital information that you'll want for the book club (I'll try not to ramble, haha!)

For the third newsletter of each month I'll ask you all for suggestions/contributions to the newsletter. That edition will be called 'Member Managed' - for this newsletter you're welcome to send me your poetry/short stories/links to entire books that you want shared, ask for beta readers for your WIP to contact you, give me information on a sale your bookish store might be having, links to a bookish idea/event (like Ella's SJM video) that requires bookworm participation, and anything else you might think has a place in that newsletter. I will, of course, attempt to fit everything in, but if I can't things will be included on a first come-first served basis.

When a Member Managed edition is coming up, I'll make a post here on Goodreads (and post a reminder on the Facebook group and Instagram page) in this 'Newsletters' folder to let you know it's coming up so you can submit your content to me via email or direct message.

The first newsletter will be sent out this week, if you don't frequent this website very often or get to social media then this is perfect for you! At the bottom of each email will be the opportunity to unsubscribe if you decide the newsletter isn't your cup of tea.
