Laura Guilbault Here you can answer and ask WYR questions.
Try to keep it mainly about reading and writing, but if we stray from the topic a little it's fine.

Laura Guilbault I'll start:

Would you rather live in the world of your favorite story (you can choose which character you are or make a new one)
OR
Have your favorite character show up at your window in the middle of the night saying "No time to explain. You need to come with me."
???

Eli | 55 comments Tough call. I'd say I'd go to my favorite story as a unique character. That way, if I come back (big "if" there), I'd have some cool tricks up my sleeve.

Would you rather write poorly, but be really rich, famous and well known because of it?
Or
Be the best writer in the world and have no one know your name or writing?

Laura Guilbault AHHHHH
That's seriously horrible, Eli!!!
I guess... ARGH! NO!!
Ok fine I guess write poorly, but be really rich, famous and well known because if I'm the best writer, what's the point if no one will read it? Plus if I'm rich I could help people or maybe even use my power for good.

Would you rather have your favorite book character in your favorite series get killed off,
OR have your favorite series end abruptly because the author gave up on it. (And you cannot convince them to continue.)

Favorite book character die, because it has already happened too many times already. Besides, if the series continues, I'll probably find another character to love and devote to.
One book, to be honest, has a lot more than one character :)

message 6: by Laura (new)

Laura Guilbault That's true.
So what's the next WYR?

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

Would you rather...
Have one of your favorite books be erased from existence as if it had never been there (every single copy, memory, and character gone) or be forced to read your least favorite book one hundred times start through finish?

message 8: by Laura (new)

Laura Guilbault One of my favorite books be erased because a) I wouldn't remember and b) I have a lot of favorites

Would you rather
Write a whole novel and be super proud of it, only to watch the one and only manuscript be burned in front of your very eyes
OR
Remember having an amazing idea for a novel but instantly forgetting what it was. You only remember that it was amazing and original and you were fully convinced you could've written a great novel from it?
MWAHAHA!!

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Write a whole novel. After all, it's what you do when you rewrite drafts... I would jot down everything I remembered and rewrite !

Would you rather:
Kill of your favorite character in the book,
OR
Have it where that character never existed?
