I don't think I've ever seen a multi-author series before! What an interesting idea - does it work well? Are all the books up to the same standard?

Danger Cove also published by Gemma Halliday Publishing is an ongoing multi-author series. All the books in that series are supposedly co-written by Elizabeth Ashby. Except of course she is a fictional mystery writer in a fictional town. Think Jessica Fletcher for an example. I have read all of the Danger Cove books except the two most recent and have found them all to be really good. I hope to get to the Aloha Lagoon series before years end. There are at least 3 more Aloha Lagoon and another Danger Cove novel in the pipeline according to the publisher's website.

Danger Cove is funny in other sense: Although it's a big series, there're small subseries into it too ;-)

Sadly, I don't expect a sequel to the first book, as the author, Christina A. Burke passed away around the first of the year.

Yes, I know it, and it's really sad.

The characters have been mentioned and been seen in other books in passing, but I was looking forward to more fun with those characters being the MCs in another novel. I see that Janel Gradowski is writing the next entry in the Bakery sub series.

Yes, I know, and I enjoyed a lot that book. And I like Janel Gradowski's books a lot, too.
