I just got it and didn't know...

I personally loved it!

Yes. YESSSSSSSS. You definitely should consider reading it. It's similar to the Hunger Games in the whole sort of one winner, rebels, and a main character's choice between two guys, but still, it's very good. (Team Aspen!). I thought it was well written, but then again, I think everything is so you may want to just ignore me. xD

I love all the characters and everything about it! It is amazing!

I really enjoyed the first book, the second not so much. The third was better than the second. Try it and see. :-)

It was about princesses so meh.

I liked the first, second, and third books the best, although I didn't like the second series as much. The first few books are awesome though.

I'm going to be honest as someone who's normally not into girly books like this one. I read the first three books and I've got to say the idea that the author had for the story was very good and thought out. Think of it as a mix of the bachelor and the Hunger Games. The characters themselves do somewhat develop through the book but it's not much compared to other books I've read in my opinion. But she has a really strong personality that got her through the story. Nevertheless I still really enjoyed the book but I did get annoyed at times. Now as for the sequel series, I absolutely hated it all because of the main character. I simply could not stand her and stopped halfway through the book.

Yes, it's clean. I don't like books with smut in it, and I didn't find it a problem with this series.

I'm reading it right now and am only on The Elite, but so far it's quite good. You just have to get into it first.

Yes, selection is good because reading the stuff that is not useful is rubbish.

It depends on what you like to read. If you like princesses, romance, pretty dresses, and drama, you'll definitely love it. If you're looking for a series involving a dystopia and a revolution, this may not be your cup of tea. It's often pitted as The Hunger Games meets The Bachelor, but it's definitely more like The Bachelor than THG. If that's something you're into, then yeah!

I finished reading it a while ago and forgot to say so here on this chat. I will answer my own question now though!

The Selection is so good! The dresses, the romance, ahhhhhhhhh... *girly sigh*
There is a little bit of content mainly in the first book and the last. Definitely not too bad though and these books are so worth it!
