I'm glad we aren't the only ones. I actually felt more of a connection beween them at the end of the last book. It took a long time for me to get into this one.

I'm going light on details in case you peek, but these are my final thoughts now that I finished.

(view spoiler)[ I rated it 4 stars because I do love the characters and there were several really memorable scenes. When Theo broke down over the broken glass, (poor baby), the butterfly tatoo, and the kitchen counter. lol.

But, I thought the beginning, and I'm talking the first half of the book was slow and kind of uneventful. I didn't even really feel their connection until the second half of the book. This was a hard thing for an author to pull off, and I do think she did it. It's just the beginning was too slow, and the end was rushed. I didn't feel that there was enough time of them being together. It was like she tried to cram too much in and tie up every loose string in too short of time. Kacie's parents, the situation I won't name, but *eyeroll* whhhyy? Jonah's installation, the shop, Theo's parents. I don't know, it was pretty good, but not as good as the first one imo. I wanted it to be their love story, but there was too much going on. That's the trouble with follow up books sometimes. (hide spoiler)]
