Hi, it's contemporary romance. It's angsty and steamy at times. I can't remember how the husband died; probably car accident.
The brother in law was abused by his own grandfather(!).
the story involves a white glove he was using but it's a spoiler which I am not allowed to reveal. It's a series book and I want to read the second which will probably be out by now.At the end he sets a barn on fire.Please help!!

Is it Broken series by A.E. Murphy? There are 2 books in the series: Broken and Connected.
